Who We Are

That phrase means two things. Both are true. The Fabric Connector was originally founded by Bart and Bas Slootman — father and son. Bridging 30+ years of industry experience with a new perspective on what the future needs.

And it shapes what we do. Because the next generation of fabric sourcing isn't just about who's running the business — it's about what materials we believe fashion should be built from.

Natural fibres sourced with integrity. Next-gen materials that are genuinely production-ready. Deadstock that deserves a second life. We built The Fabric Connector to make those materials easier to access, and the decisions around them easier to make.

How We
Work.

The Fabric Connector is a curated fabric library. We scout and vet suppliers, building a selection of natural, next-gen, and deadstock materials that meet our standards for quality, provenance, and integrity.

Brands can explore the library remotely, or visit us in person at our Amsterdam showroom. Samples are sent out on request — because the right fabric decision starts with holding it in your hands.
